Every year in India nearly 2.8 million children get measles or rubella. The Measles Rubella (MR) program is an initiative by the Government of India which aims at vaccinating children aged 9 months to 15 years against these diseases. We have implemented this program in Roorkee area.
Launched under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM), this project provides healthcare and medical services to the urban slum population. We have been running it since August 2010 in the Roorkee Area.
Known as 'Hridaya Project', it was aimed at reducing transmission of HIV/AIDS among Injecting Drug Users (IDU's) as well as raising their concerns with the local bodies. It was implemented under FCRA funding from 2012 - 2016.
Assigned to us by Uttarkhand State AIDS Control Society in Dehradun, this project aimed at reducing the transmission of AIDS in slum areas around Haridwar. Through street plays and by providing medical help, we raised awareness on AIDS and ways to prevent it.
Also know as 'Hridaya Project' is aimed at reducing transmission of HIV/AIDS among Injecting Drug Users (IDU's) through awareness campaings and medical support. It is implemented by the India HIV/AIDS Alliance. This project was implemented under FCRA category from 2012 - 2016.
